Do you accept my insurance?
Because what we do is so specialized and the patients that we accept to treat are unique, we do not accept any insurance. Insurance compensates doctors based on the average proficiency in any given geographical area. We are excellent at what we do. We also believe that patients are more engaged if they are paying themselves. If seeking out providers based on whether or not they accept your insurance worked, you wouldn’t be here.
What are the prices of visits?
As of 9/1/2024, all prices for our Queens location are as follows: $50 for a consultation and $275 for an exam. Treatments are offered in packages of 8 visits for $1000 and 16 visits for $1840.
All prices for our Manhattan location (City Shockwave) are as follows: $50 for a consultation and $325 for an exam. Treatments are offered in packages of of 8 visits for $1240 and 16 visits for $2320.
How many visits will this take?
While it is impossible to give this answer without a thorough examination, the average care plan, per area, is around 14-16 visits. This is half the number of visits of the average chiropractic or physical therapy care plan in the state of New York.
Will my results be permanent?
Yes, although the degree of permanence will be dictated by a variety of factors. These factors include how much you’re continually loading the previously adhered tissue, nutrition, stress management, sleep hygiene, and compliance with your home exercise program. The same things that cause adhesion build up will cause it to come back. Most patients require follow-up, much like you would with a dentist.
How come you don't do adjustments?
We require all of our treatments to have the following criteria: they must be safe, they must be effective, and they must be durable. We find that adjustments only satisfy the first three criteria in that they are safe and they can be effective at reducing pain (if performed in the right location). Adjustments fall short when it comes to durability, often requiring too much consistent follow-up to be sustainable. Our adhesion release satisfies safety, effectiveness, and durability.
